What are the types of email available and what are their differences?

There are 3 kinds of emails:

• Marketing or bulk emails. These are sent to multiple recipients to offer products, vouchers or provide information; they are not expected by the recipients but have to comply to strict rules such as: opt-in recipients, show a simple option to unsubscribe ...
• Recurring emails sent on a specific date (e.g. a birthday)
• Transactional emails intended for a single person to notify or inform them as the result of an event or action
